Obituary of William Whitmore

William “Bill” Whitmore passed away at home in Washougal on August 25, 2018 at the age of 68. He was born October 19, 1949 in Portland, OR.  He was raised in Portland and attended Benson Technical High School.  Bill joined the Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He eventually moved to Washougal and worked for ADS for over 20 years driving truck.  Bill enjoyed spending his spare time hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Michael; son, Billy; daughters, Gina and Crystal; step-daughter, Marie; sisters, Barbara, Linda and Diane; brothers, David, Michael, Greg and Ken.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  His ashes will be inurned at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.  To send condolences or to sign the online guestbook please visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com.
