I was sad to hear of my "Tante Ipie" passing away. While it's expected that we all live and eventually must leave this world, I , like many, feel it was too soon for such a lovely woman, a best-friend to my mom for over 50 years and always a fun person to have around.
While I didn't see her much over the past several years, even-so, she WILL leave an empty spot in my heart (and the hearts of those she knew) , and with that said, I send my deepest and most profound condolences to all whose lives she touched.

Ida was a special part of my teen years. I laugh often when I think of her parenting techniques with Diana during our friendship. Tennis anyone? Private joke. To a wonderful lady I wish you a very happy everlasting life. RIP❣
