There is not a single day that goes by since my best friend and one and only left this earth that I don’t think about him. He was one of a kind and had the biggest heart out of anyone I’ve met in my life. He cared for people more than he did himself most times and he would take the shirt off his back if he knew someone needed it more than he did. He was funny and goofy and love to make others laugh. No matter what was going on in his life he just wanted the people around him to be happy and feel safe and taken care of. I’m still processing the fact that he is no longer here on this earth. I’m not sure where I’d be if it wasn’t for Rick. He touched my soul and we understood each other so well it was unreal at times. He is in a better place I know and I know he’s smiling down on us all. His life will never be forgotten. I remember all the good times going down to the river, going to random lookout and driving around on on his dads John Deere which to this day is probably one of the best days of my life. I love you Rick and I will always keep you in my heart.

I loved him like my own. We all have a guardian angel now. He can just be happy and we can rest easy knowing he's safe. The Stephens are the best people. They raised a beautiful human and I feel privileged to have known them like I do. If you see me on the Columbia walking dogs...say hi. Or give me a nod for Rick.

Rick was truly one of the most kind and giving souls I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet I remember times where we would just sit and talk about the future and where we both wanted to be I know Rick always wanted to coach basketball for kids he even helped coach me when we would ball up at 24 hour fitness I considered Rick like a big brother to me he helped me through some really hard times in my life and for that I’ll always be greatful. Long live Rick Stephens I’ll never forget you pop you have permanently impacted my life in such a positive way I know you’re resting easy and not in any pain anymore I also know you’re watching over all of us I love you Rick thank you for all you’ve done for me. -Joey Pinzone
