Obituary of Judy A. Carroll

Judy A. Meyer-Carroll of Camas, WA, was born May 8, 1951, in North Dakota, the daughter of June Delores Francis Meyer; raised by Richard “Bud” & June Meyer. She graduated from Camas High School, in 1969. Shortly thereafter she moved to California, this was the beginning of her many years traveling the US and Mexico. When she returned to Camas over 25 years ago, she found a successful career as a real estate agent. Judy served her community, not only in her work, but as a volunteer in charitable organizations as well. She was a person who could always be counted on. Judy passed away peacefully in the afternoon of Monday, August 23, 2021, at the age of 70, her sons were present with her. She was preceded in death by her mother, June Meyer; brother, Jim Meyer; sister, Janice Platt. Survivors include her father, Richard “Bud” Meyer; son, Jason Sample and his wife Lisa; son, Christopher Sample and his wife Wendy; grandchildren, Alex, Collin, and Reece; step-sons, Brian Carroll, Grant Carroll; sisters, Renee Mattson, Lori Johnson, Kim Martin, Kay Martinez; brothers, Rick Meyer, John Meyer; and a host of friends and extended family. She was very loved by all who encountered her charismatic personality and charm. Judy was feisty, full of spunk, an adventurer, a flower artist, and a magic quilt maker. She treasured her time with loved ones; whether she was hosting a gathering or attending, you could count on her beautiful smile to brighten the room. Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm on September 10, 2021. Location: Get Together Farm, 1913 SE 303rd Ave, Washougal, WA 98671. Dress code: Lots of color, low-heel shoes and bling are appropriate to celebrate her life. (Do NOT wear black! Per Judy)
