My sincere condolences to the Englund family on the passing of dear Bernice. We met in high school and after graduating in 1948, we each decided to further our skills at Edison Technical School in Seattle. After completing school there, we were both hired to work at Edison. Since Bernice had taken shorthand, she went to work for the principal of the school, while I worked for the vice-principals and we eventually got to be in the same office. A few years later, I married my high school sweetheart. Bernice made a beautiful maid of honor, and was married 5 days later to the love of her life, Clarey. We lost contact probably 20 some years ago, however she was often in my mind. I hope the wonderful memories you have of this lovely lady will bring smiles to your faces, as they do mine.
