ROBERT EMANUEL ROGERS
Washougal – Robert E Rogers, 76, quietly passed away on February 26, 2023, at his home with his wife
by his side. He was born on October 24, 1946, in Bronx, NY, the son of Manny and Alice Rogers. Bob
graduated from McArthur High School, Class of 1964. Bob proudly served in the United States Army for
3 years. His most memorable assignment was at the School of Americas, located at Ft Gulick, Panama
Canal Zone. He played an integral role by training soldiers to survive and fight in jungle terrains in
preparations for the Vietnam War. Bob had an amazing career in the banking industry serving as Vice
President for several bank institutions in and around Clearwater/Tampa for over a decade. Prior to the
deterioration in his health, Bob went on a cruise every year with Jacqui. Bob loved supporting the fine
arts by being a donor and attending the Broadway Season at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in
Tampa. He loved attending University of Florida Gator football games, as well as an avid fan of the
Tampa Bay Lightning. The thing Bob loved most was fishing with his wife Jacqui from their boat. Bob is
predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Jacqui, his brother Ron and wife Emily, his sister
Vicki and husband Rory, Stepson Mike and wife Jen and his 3 grandchildren Charleigh, Mackenzie and
Kirin. The family will be having a small Celebration of Life, date and time to be determined. Memorial
