I have always enjoyed visiting with Don, we shared intrest in farming and the community. He will be greatly missed.May you find strength in the Lord in the days ahead.
Dear Norma and family, I was the little girl who lived so much with Francis and Gloria. I spent many holidays at Grandma Mae\'s house and shared in the family. I have always held those memories close to my heart. I will always remember playing in the barn, petting the cows and running back to the house for pie. "Uncle Donny" was the sweetest man and his quiet presence and his loving attention to family was a joy to watch. Thanks for the memories. Debi

My Heart goes out to the family, with tears in my eyes, a lump in my throat and a hole in my heart. Donald meant the world to me, I will miss him Dearly.
My love and best wishes to you in these sad days. Don was a wonderful man and you two had a beautiful marriage. I will make it a point to come for a visit when life calms down a bit for you. I would love to just spend time with you like the old days. It was so good to see you last night and I\'m thinking about you today and sending loving thoughts. My phone number is 503-668-4473.
With love,
Marsha
While I did not know Don, I do know his sone, Dan. You can tell alot about a person from the children they raise. Don was clearly a loving man who valued family, and who valued self discipline with a strong work ethic. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you cope with this difficult loss.
They walked in silence
It was getting late.
He stepped ahead
To open the gate.
She wanted to thank him
But didn\'t know how.
Cuz he was a Farmer
And she was a cow.
