Obituary of Virginia A Collet

VIRGINIA A. COLLET Virginia Collet, of Vancouver, passed away Sunday, May 29 in Vancouver. She was 91. Virginia was born March 1, 1914 in Columbus, OH to Graham and Irma Garrett Ackerman. She was raised in Columbus and married Marjen Collet in 1936. They lived on the east coast and later in South America. They moved to Louisiana where they spent 27 years before moving to Vancouver in 1984. Virginia was an award winning photographer and was a world traveler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marjen, in 1985. Survivors include her daughters, Susan Seiler and Dian Kraus both of Vancouver, Linda Collet of Virgin, UT; son, Thomas Collet of Eugene, OR; sister, Joan Miller of Churchville, PA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Private family services will be held later at the Camas Cemetery. Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
