Obituary of Dianna Elaine Avery

DIANNA ELAINE AVERY Dianna Avery, of Camas, passed away Friday, June 24 in Portland, OR. She was 39. Dianna was born December 14, 1965 in Vancouver, WA to David and Shirley Bergmann Whetzel. She graduated from Washougal High School in 1984 and married Robert Avery in 1985. They moved to Camas and Dianna worked at Smitty?s Restaurant for 11 years before going to work in Vancouver as a orthodontics assistant. In 2001 Dianna became a full time homemaker. She enjoyed writing poetry, working in her flower garden and interior decorating. She also liked helping and doing things for other people. She is survived by her husband, Robert, at home; daughter, Elysia Avery of Camas; parents, Davis and Shirley Whetzel of Washougal; sisters, Elizabeth McFadden of Hansville, WA, Melanie Whetzel of Camas; grandmother, Leslie Whetzel of Long Beach, WA; mother-in-law, Mazie Avery of Washougal.
