Obituary of Betty V. Cronrath

BETTY V. CRONRATH Betty Cronrath, age 81, passed away July 25 in Vancouver, WA. She was born July 12, 1924 in Strawberry Pt., Iowa. She grew up in Iowa and attended Wartburg College. In 1945 she married Luther Cronrath and Betty became a homemaker. She lived in Seattle for several years before moving to Wenatchee in 1978. She then moved to Vancouver four months ago to be closer to her daughter. She enjoyed reading singing, writhing and bible study. She was preceded in death by her sister, Luella Mattson. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Jendro of Washougal, WA; sons, Bill Cronrath of Wenatchee, WA, James Cronrath of Viola, ID; brother, Kenneth Hoskyn of Oelwien, IA; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be Thursday, July 28 at 2pm at the Harvest Community Church in Camas, WA. Straub?s Funeral Home & Columbia River Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
