Obituary of Vera M. Mason

VERA M. MASON Vera M. Mason, age 72, passed away Monday, August 1 in Vancouver. She was born April 15, 1933 in Washougal to Robert and Pearl Woody Naillon and was one of 16 children. She was raised on Mt. Norway and graduated from Washougal High School and worked in the bag factory at Crown Zellerbach. Vera married Walter Mason and they made their home in Camas where she became a homemaker. Mrs. Mason enjoyed singing and playing the accordian. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Prune Hill Ward in Camas. She is survived by her children, James Mason of Oregon, Marla Smith of Vancouver, Kevin Mason of Washougal, Dennis Mason and Debbie Belgaard both of Vancouver; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Thursday, August 4 at 2pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Washougal. Burial will follow at the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
