Obituary of Ruth L. Ruth

RUTH L. RUTH Ruth L. Ruth, age 87, passed away November, 29 in Amboy, WA. She was born November 25, 1918 in Wending, OR to William and Annie Steuer. Ruth graduated from Washougal High School and attended Multnomah Bible College. She continued to live in the Camas/Washougal area and helped raise her nieces. She married George Ruth in 1965. They made their home in Fern Prairie where they operated an antique store. They later retired and moved to Arizona. George passed away in 1992 and Ruth would move back to Washougal in 2000. She spent the last few months living in Amboy with her niece. Ruth enjoyed going to garage sales and going antiquing. She loved music and playing the organ and piano.. She also was an artist, enjoying all things with arts and crafts. She is survived by her brother, Bill Steuer; nieces, Sharon Barth, Lynn Steuer and Lisa Miller; nephews, Bill Steuer, III, and Matthew Steuer; great nieces; Tiffany Steuer, Chris Higdon, Kim Grant, Teresa Bernard, Maxine Finstad, and Shelly Barth; great nephews, Mark Miller, Liu Miller, Tiare Miller, Travis Steuer, Sam Higdon, Jr., and Tom Barth; step-son, Duane Ruth; and step-grandchildren, Jack Ruth, Dave Ruth, Debbie Evans, and Scott Ruth. A funeral service will be Saturday, December 3rd at 11am at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
