Obituary of Joyce Owenson-Winnington

JOYCE OWENSON-WINNINGTON Joyce Owenson-Winnginton, age 88, passed away Friday, December 23 in Portland, OR. She was born April 2, 1917 in Arnegard, ND where she grew up. She moved to Camas in 1938 and was a homemaker until becoming a retail clerk at the Camas Department Store. She later went to work as a clerk for the Economy Drug Store until she retired. Joyce enjoyed shopping and baseball. She also crocheted and loved being with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Dan Owenson of Portland, OR; sisters, Sybil Smith of Great Falls, MT, Patricia Allen of Storey, WY; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Wednesday, December 28 at 1pm at Straub?s Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will follow at the Camas Cemetery.
