Obituary of Eleanor Gardiner

ELEANOR GARDINER Eleanor Gardiner, age 79, passed away Feb. 27 in Camas. She was born Nov. 22, 1926 in Carlisle, WA and grew up in Aloha, WA. In 1947 she married Robert Gardiner and they lived in Aloha until moving to Pacific Beach, WA in 1970. Eleanor was a homemaker but while in Pacific Beach she worked as a dispatcher for the local fire department. Robert passed away in 1985 and Eleanor moved to Vancouver where she has lived ever since. Mrs. Gardiner enjoyed doing crafts and dancing at the Luepke Center in Vancouver. She is survived by her children, David Gardiner of Hoquiam, WA, Gloria Woolridge of Vancouver, WA; Linda Keeney of Gresham, OR; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, March 11 at 2pm on the 9th floor at the Columbia House. Private graveside services will be held in Hoquiam, WA.
