Obituary of Mildred M. Timmons

MILDRED MAE TIMMONS Mildred Mae Timmons of Camas died in Vancouver Saturday July 22, 2006. She was born in Pigeon Creek, WV January 23, 1926 to Irvin and Bertha Crumb. She moved to Gresham, OR at age two and grew up in Portland. During WWII she worked as a welder in the shipyards. Mildred married Austin Timmons in 1950 and they moved to Washougal then to Camas in 1956 where she has lived since. Austin died in 1997. Mildred enjoyed gardening and was a former member of the Garden Club. Her passion, however, was traveling and taking tours. She also was a caregiver for several family members when they were in need. Mildred is survived by her sons Gregory of Portland, Stephen of Washougal and Jeffrey of Camas; sisters Ellen Benway of Camas and Vera Maitland of Vancouver; 1 grandson Jason of Riverside, CA and 1 great granddaughter Makayla of Thermal, CA. Graveside services will be Friday July 28th at 11 AM at the Camas Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances in Mildred Timmons name be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House, 2112 E.
