Daniel George Bakker

Daniel George Bakker passed away December 23^rd2018 at PHSW Medical Center.  Daniel was born on May 14^th1945 in Holland Michigan to John and Lena Bakker.  He was the youngest of 4 children: Dewey, Cathy, Bill.

Daniel graduated from Holland Christian High with furthering his education at Hope College.

Daniel was drafted to serve in the Navy with active duty from 1966 to 1969 and served as Hospital Corpsman Third Class.  In June of 1971, Daniel attended Colorado State University to earn his masters degree.

Daniel’s life time career for over 35 years was supporting children as a Child Development Councilor.

Daniel loved to golf, fish and spend time watching his favorite team Bronco’s.

Daniel was married to the love of his live Sandy Bakker for 52 years.  Raising two Daughter’s Rachel Bakker 51, Sarah Del Moral 47.  He had 4 Grandkids, Kyler Bakker, Deja Nissing, Jordan Del Moral and Amanda Del Moral.

Daniel retired and spent time reminiscing his past.  On December 23^rd2018 Daniel passed away with family surrounding him saying their goodbyes.  Daniel left this world and has found Peace.

A service will be held Jan 3^rd2019 at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas at 3pm.
