Roger will continue to live in the hearts and minds of all who had the good fortune to know him.
Roger sold me my house in Washougal when I moved here from Washington DC. The price was at the lowest in 2009 and he sold my house in 2021 the market was at the highest. He coached me and helped get my house ready for sale and successfully sold it for the price I asked to the first client within four hours the first day. Success thanks to him. It allowed me the equity I needed to retire.
Roger was an integrator, he introduced me to Clark college where I then worked for 11 years.
I saw him often on my walk along the river. We shared an interest in local history and he read and edited stories I published.
Roger will leave a large gap in our community. It is up to us to show our appreciation and continue to fill those gaps he loved so much. The washougal school is on my list to honor his memory.
